Welcome to the GoFundMe page for the staff members of Elaine’s Coffee Call, The J. Parker, and The Kennison, three restaurants located in Hotel Lincoln in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. 

We are three properties and one big family that, day in and day out, strives to provide a unique experience focused on genuine hospitality.  The credit goes to our truly amazing staff that comes together to ensure everyone in the building feels like a special guest. 

The governor of Illinois has announced that all bars and restaurants will be closed to dine-in customers through March 30th.  It happened suddenly and immediately and has since had immense impact on the hardworking staff on our team. 

Immediately they are now unemployed and full of uncertainty and questions without answers. Being closed for two weeks, if not longer, means that an entire staff, of over 100 employees, who receive bi-weekly payroll will not receive any income moving forward until after we are hopefully able to reopen. 

We want to thank all of those who have been supporting us, whether it has been just one night or regular weekly visits, and to all those who have reached out to ask us, “how can we help you now?” 

If you appreciate our team as we do, and value your experiences at your neighborhood spot for morning coffee, date night drinks, or family dinners, we urge you now to please consider making a contribution to help our staff during this time of uncertainty. 100% of funds collected through this platform will be divided to every employee of our three properties and will go to help them support their own families, buy groceries, and pay their bills.
