The DC COVID shutdown has brought business to a near halt for Floriana. We are doing delivery for the first time in our 41 years serving the District, but it just isn't nearly enough to help our staff earn a sustainable income.
In response to requests by several of our long term patrons, we are creating this GoFundMe to offer a platform for the public to help our staff get through the shutdown.
While most of them have applied for unemployment, many are struggling to make rent, feed their families, pay student loans and make other payments. 100% of proceeds will be split amongst our non-salaried staff.
