Stacy's skydive for Alzheimer's Scotland

Hi im Stacy. I'm fundraising in aid of alzheimer's Scotland. This is very personal to me and also very personal to alot of you too. Last June i lost my gran who was 74, My gran (Marion) got diagnosed with alzheimer's at the age of 68 and battled everyday for 6 years with this heartbreaking illness. My gran was my mum, she was the woman who gave her life up to raise me from the age of 4 to give me a life I wouldn't have had. The most selfless, caring, strongest woman I've ever known. Although I cared for her for years with this illness I feel want I to give something more back so I will be doing a skydive at St Andrews in memory of my gran and everything raised will go to alzheimer's Scotland charity. 

The fear of doing this doesn't compare to the fear and pain over the years watching the one person I loved the most deteriorate. Loosing who's she was. Struggling to understand what was happening to her and become so vulnerable. To then loose her which felt like twice over due to this illness. 

 Alot of you followed my grans life and journey and seen how much this woman meant to me. 

This is the least I could do. To everyone reached out also with their own stories and experiencing or have experienced the same with their loved ones also makes me doing this all the more worth while.
