Stacy Tipping's Cancer Battle

On Tuesday, August 16th, Stacy was diagnosed with Stage 3 invasive ductal breast cancer. The six letters no parent ever wants to hear for their child. Only 9% of women under the age of 45 are at risk for breast cancer. I find myself asking why my child? Stacy and her husband, Jesse, have one child 11 years of age. They are your ordinary hard-working family you might find next door but now facing this devastating emotional and financial adversity.

Like most people today their annual out of pocket insurance cost, travel expenses, and medication costs are more than they can afford. As her mother I just want to see her focus on fighting this disease, rest when possible, and not worry about the financial impact this will have on their lives.

All of her family is very supportive and loving but it is a small circle. It’s going to take a village to get her through this and we are hoping you want to be part of that village to help her through this journey. We thought this might be a good platform for Stacy’s supporters and anyone interested in paying it forward to rally around her. Please know what a difference you are making for a kind and loving person.
