My sister-in-law Stacy Ponti is one of the most generous, giving, FUNNY and inspiring people that I have had the privilege of knowing. She would do anything for anyone and never ask for anything in return.
She recently had to undergo a 10-12 hour operation on her brain (for a second time) to remove some nasty aggressive tumors from her nogin. The tumors are benign-meningiomas, but still having to go through this once was tough enough, but having to do this TWO times in a short span of time is incredible draining on the entire family.
The good news is that the surgery went well, but she is going to have a long recovery and will be off of work for an extended period of time - she will be off work most likely until next school year. Long term disability will eventually kick in after 60-90 days, but in the mean-time she will have a minimum of 12 weeks of time unpaid. That is the gap we are trying to close for the family.
While her and her family would never ask for anything, I am asking you all to donate to this recovery fund so that she and her family can focus on recovering instead of finances while she is laid up. ALL (100%) of donations from this fund will go to Stacy and her family to pay expenses as she recovers. If you cannot donate, prayers, cards and good wishes are always welcome.
