Hello my name is Jay, and I am acting on the behalf of our dear friend, Stacy Pink.

Why I'm fundraising

Stacy, like many of us, went to be with friends & family for Christmas but devastatingly got a call from police just a day later on (Christmas Eve) that her home, & caravan was burglarised, trashed & damaged!!

Stacy spent Christmas Day in tears, alone in her trashed home, the 70yo now left feeling unsafe, devastated & heart broken. Not knowing where to begin with the aftermath of cleaning up her home on her own & dealing with the police investigation & insurance claims and organising appointments for repairs, & with little money to do any of it.

Stacy, with her little dog Jerry, is the loveliest lady who might possibly have the biggest love for the colour pink. She has a heart of gold & loves nothing more then spending her time with friends and family and doing what she loves most, detecting. Stacy isn’t alone with her hobby, she has a huge community of fellow detectorists, she’s the kind of lady who knows everyone’s names and is always up for a chat or to catch up for a day of prospecting, she dedicates a lot of her time to her prospecting community keeping them up to date with events & organising gatherings & giving out little prizes. Detecting is her life & keeps her young and fit for a 70 yo, but being her age she can’t do it alone.

The impact of your support

But she also needs financial support as it will help with the financial loss from the burglary as there is excess costs from her insurance and immediate expenses, and not to mention Stacy has a huge clean up ahead of her. There’s just so much support she is needing.
