Allen’s sister Stacy passed away peacefully yesterday morning in Valdez. She had been living there to be close to her middle child. She leaves behind three young daughters in which two of them were under her care. Her two daughters will transition here to Aleknagik hopefully soon. We are working to get them home. Our family of 6 will be increased to a family of 8. We ask for your prayers as we prepare for the girls to come live with us. We also ask that everything from this transition to preparations her funeral services to fall into place and everything comes along smoothly. It was a very difficult day yesterday but we have peace knowing she is in no more pain and her suffering is ended. Stacy was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer a few years back. It spread to her bones then later throughout her body. Though she fought as best she could this illness over took her. We will announce funeral services as the days play out. Thank you everyone who is praying for her children. We are asking for funds to help with funeral arrangements (ie funeral home, casket, etc) Because she wasn’t within the Bristol Bay service area BBNA cannot provide assistance. She had no BBNC shares so we aren’t sure if they will help. Any amount will be very much appreciated.
