Stacy and Michael Parker

Update 9/17:

Since starting this GoFundMe there have been a lot of changes….

Michael had his 2nd surgery on his foot and was discharged from the hospital to the Rehab facility. There is a possibility that he will be coming home sometime this week! He’s doing great!

Cooper has started full days back to school

and his collar bone is healing nicely. Cooper was able to go see an Orthopedic and got some additional x-rays. He’s doing great!

Stacy has had a hard time. On Tuesday 9/12 Stacy was rushed to emergency surgery for a perforated bowel. Stacy has had 3 surgeries on her abdomen and is scheduled for another surgery tomorrow. She has an open wound and they are trying to close her, but unfortunately due to all the trauma, swelling and edema the surgeons have been unsuccessful. The surgeons had to remove a substantial portion of her intestines and then reattach the bowel and intestines. Please pray that the fluid and swelling has reduced enough for the surgeons to successfully close her up tomorrow. This has been a huge road block for Stacy. We are all ready for her to get over this hump and finally start healing and preparing for the future surgeries and procedures related to initial femur injury.

Stacy, Michael and their 6 year old son, Cooper were in a terrible car accident on September 1, 2023. Stacy is currently still in ICU and her husband Michael is also in the hospital awaiting his 2nd surgery on his foot. Stacy suffered substantial injuries to her right leg and will have more surgeries in the future.

Once Michael and Stacy are released from the hospital they will be discharged to a rehab facility. Cooper is currently home being taken care of by extended family and healing from his injuries. The time frame for either of them returning to work is unknown.
