To celebrate my 40th birthday this year, I am running 40 miles on October 16 (CrAzY!) and attempting to raise at least $4,000 for R.U.N. Ministries, an organization that I believe in deeply.

R.U.N. (Reaching Unreached Nations) focuses much of its effort in the Middle East...doing amazing work such as rescuing children who have been taken as sex slaves or child soldiers. They are helping to start churches in some of the most restricted nations on earth and also work on Bible translation projects.

In light of the present crisis unfolding in Afghanistan, RUN is moving Afghan believers to safe places across the country. Their priority is to get girls, women, orphans of war and underground Christians out of harms way. They urgently need our support for emergency transportation, food, and shelter.
