Almost three years ago, my twin sister, Stacia, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 28. After undergoing chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, she was doing great. Unfortunately, two weeks ago, she was told that one of her lymph nodes "lit up" and a mass was found on one of her lungs. Now, she is back at this and this time, she will be having surgery to remove the mass, chemotherapy, AND radiation. She has been through so much already and although she has insurance, a lot of it still comes from out-of-pocket.
