This past week, our family at Curtis Strange Elementary School has received some very sad news. One of our 5th Grade students, Stacia Franklin, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, March 9th, 2019. In effort to help the family offset funeral expenses we are trying to raise money for the family.
Stacia was a student in my class this year. Throughout the year Stacia had really started to come out of her shell. Once a very quiet student who kept to herself, recently Stacia had gained a group of friends and was becoming very outspoken and a bit of a jokester. I can still hear her spunky voice say to me, "Really, Mrs. Roscioli, why do you have to give us so much work? Aren't we your favorite students?" It was such a joy to watch her blossom into a social young woman who excited about learning and her future. Please join our school and Stacia's family as we mourn the loss of this wonderful young woman. Every little bit will help with the cost of funeral expenses.
