Staches for Stephen
Donation protected
Ahh...Movember. Its that time of year again where facial pubes are more acceptable, and mustaches are a little bit less creepy.
This month and charity never particularly hit home for me...probably because of the fact that I hit puberty at 21, but now that I have somewhat of what resembles a beard I've decided to take part in the festivities.
Below is a link to a GoFund Me that I've created for donations that will go to MARF (The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation) in honor of Stephen Guilder who passed away from his battle with Mesothelioma in 2009.
Stephen was one of the greatest men I have ever had the honor of being friends with. He was truly a second father to me, and anyone who knew him can attest to how amazing of a friend, father and husband he was.
Despite what his son Ross Guilder's facial hair may look like, Stephen actually was a man's man, an outdoorsman who would love the thought of Stache's for Stephen (#StachesForStephen). We will be posting pictures of the progress of our facial hair every couple days. My dad Brad Chayet has also decided to join the cause and will be growing out his beard for the first time EVER!!
$1, $2, $1,000, whatever you could donate would be great. If nothing else please donate to help us explain to people why we look homeless by the end of the month!

As of now the team for Staches for Stephen is Ross Guilder, Brad Chayet, Alexander Leo, Justin Guilder, Michael Ladin, and myself, but anyone that wants to join and help raise money, contact me, share this post and send me pics of your face (lol) so that I can share.
Thanks guys, sorry in advance for the wirey beards you will have to put up with. As you can see from my picture today facial hair was slow to come in this morning but expecting .034cm over night hopefully. Tomorrow we'll have a collage of everybody and their "beards"!
Thanks guys, don't forget to donate!
The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation is the nonprofit collaboration of patients and families, physicians, advocates, and researchers dedicated to eradicating the life-ending and vicious effects of mesothelioma.
