Hi my name is Stacey and I’m fundraising to help with my bills associated with my double organ transplant.

After years with type one diabetes and epilepsy, my kidneys have decided to give up. I’m in end stage kidney failure and I spend 3 days on a dialysis machine.

I am one of the lucky ones and have been placed on the transplant list to receive a kidney and pancreas transplant.

The kicker is, I have to fly to Sydney when it’s my time. I have to stay for at least four weeks. Although the flights are paid for. We still have to pay for accommodation and other bills. My partner and I are trying our best to save as much money as possible but it’s been very hard. My partner is working two jobs and my work has stopped me from working for the last three months. Having the funds there will take so much stress off us to make sure our bills are paid.

I have given so much of my time and effort for everyone else over the years. I use to play state and national softball. I’ve also been a volunteer firefighter. Helping to save land and homes in some of the worst bushfires.

Anything would be greatly appreciated as I know times are tough.
