For the last 3 years, I’ve desired to go to a Bible school and participate in a course that would help me to not only learn more about the Bible as a whole, but more importantly, learn study technics that I can use to teach other believers who are wanting to dive deeper into their Bible and study the truths of God.

 

At the beginning of December, I received an acceptance letter for a course called SBS(School of Biblical Studies) through an organization called YWAM(Youth with a Mission). I had previously worked for this non-profit organization for two years in Newcastle, Australia for the years of 2018 and 2019 before returning to Columbia, South Carolina(my home town). The SBS is a 9-month intense Bible course, counting as 36 college credits, that goes through the Bible chronologically, reading the whole thing and developing study technics and teaching tools that will be applied through the course. The course starts on March 12th, 2021 and ends on December 3th, 2021.

 

My desire is to be able to take this course, restructure everything I learn, and use it to be able to teach any person of any age in any cultural setting. Long term I desire to be in missions overseas, so having a tool that helps me to teach the Bible cross-culturally would allow for better ministry opportunities.

 

The school tuition and accommodation is $9,000 for all three semester. I’m fundraising in total for $9,500 to cover basic cost and fees.
