Stacey lost her home to a fire
Donation protected
Around 4am Tuesday morning (July 24, 2018) two families lost their homes. All people and animals that lived in the homes are safe. The cause is currently unknown, but being investigated.
Stacey, her 2 children, and beloved dog rented from the McDermotts (the living spaces were connected) and now they have nothing. This Go Fund Me is an attempt to get the word out and address the first layer of support for Stacey and her family. To complicate the current situation Stacey is on vacation with her children. I am happy to be the contact person until she returns next week (July 31st) since there is little she can act on being so far away and the family is in shock. I can be contacted via FB messenger.
Here is a short list of ideas on how to support:
1. They need a place to live. Short or long term. Putney would be great, but all options will be considered. If you know of a place let me know!
2. Donate here
3. Gift cards (gas, Hannaford, the Putney Coop, restaurants, Target...) These are some quick ideas...if you know Stacey you may have others?
4. Healthy meals. Upon their return, depending on where they land, I'm sure they would appreciate some yummies!
5. Items for Molly. Molly is really the head honcho in the family! Molly loves a comfy bed and 2 squares a day, a leash... all you dog people out there know the drill!
Over time needs like furniture and clothing along with the gift of time for Stacey to negotiate building a new life will be in order. But first....HOUSING! Who has got a lead??
