There are no words that can appropriately express the sadness that is felt by the many people who are mourning the loss of Stacey. She was all that is light, grace, kindness, and goodness in this world. The people that she touched along her journey on this earth are innumerable and the strength with which she faced this battle was boundless and unparalleled.

Stacey often talked about her gratefulness for all your support, in ways both big and small. The assistance she experienced over the past 5 years via her “lotsahelpinghands“ care network, meals, rides, playdates, your prayers, encouragement, messages of hope, and contributions to a Go Fund Me campaign – all helped relieve the daily stresses of her cancer journey and supported the lives of her children as they adapted to this devastating reality. Your kindness combined with the tremendous and ongoing support of her family (emotional, practical, and financial) allowed Stacey to pass knowing just how much she was loved.

As you can imagine, her love for her family was her guiding light, and her concern for them was her central focus. Stacey also loved her many different jobs - yoga and barre teacher, dietitian, and skin care business owner to name a few. She used her earnings from these jobs to fund family trips and save for college for Hannah, Liam, Jack, and Chase. Their education was extremely important to her and a specific concern of hers, especially in her final years. The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to provide an avenue to directly support the children as contributions will be used to fund their 529 college savings plans. The family recognizes that some have already made contributions or donations in Stacey’s honor. They remain very appreciative of that generosity and have no expectation of additional support. Still, given interest expressed by the community, we want to provide this opportunity and know Stacey would be comforted by giving her family one less thing to worry about in the coming years.
