Hi Everyone,

My name is Julie and I’m reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Stacey to ask for help.

Stacey is one of the most caring, hardworking humans I know -- always putting others first, she works as a care aid.

Recently on her way to work, she was in a serious accident after swerving to avoid a dog. And in doing this she lost control of her car. What should have been a normal night at work turned into a life

changing event.

She spent 21 days in Kelowna General Hospital, including time in ICU.

Stacey is now facing serious physical challenges: she has a broken back and has undergone many surgeries, including three plates; a rod, six screws placed into her spine. Her recovery is painful, slow, and emotionally exhausting. And now is facing a financial burden of not being able to work and support her family (rent). Along with this, she is also grieving the passing of her father, and trying to navigate how to be a single parent.

She has helped so many people for so long, and it’s now our time to be there for her.

Basic living expenses such as rent, phone bills, and daily living costs are becoming harder and harder to manage.

I am hoping we can help her to get the funds to help her and her children, and four legged babies to not have to worry about basic necessities, or wonder how the rent will be paid next month.

Stacey is such a humble, beautiful and wonderful soul, if you can help in anyway, it would be so appreciated.
