Hi, my name is Kelly, and I am the youngest daughter of Stacey.
It breaks my heart to share that my dad passed away on August 8th, 2025, after a courageous and painful fight with pancreatic cancer.
In April, we were given news that shattered our world—stage 3 terminal pancreatic cancer. We were told we had only months, but nothing could have prepared us for how quickly his health would decline. Just weeks ago, we learned the cancer had spread to his liver, making it stage 4. From that moment on, we watched my father fight harder than he ever had before—not for himself, but for his wife, his children, and his beloved grandchildren.
My dad was full of life and love. He didn’t want to leave us. He was a man whose laughter, love for Rock n’ Roll, quick wit, and tender heart touched everyone he met. He loved his family deeply, he adored his friends, and even had a special bond with his “cat-friends.” To know him was to love him, and to be loved by him was a gift.
When my dad got sick, he had to stop working almost immediately. My mom, who is medically retired and on oxygen due to lung disease, was already unable to work. My brother and I did everything we could—working tirelessly to keep a roof over our heads and to give our parents the support they needed. But the truth is, the financial strain has been overwhelming.
Now, we want to give my dad the farewell he truly deserves—the way he would have wanted, surrounded by love, music, and dignity. In lieu of flowers, we are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, that you consider donating to help us cover his funeral expenses and honor his final wishes.
No matter the amount, your kindness will help us lay a remarkable man to rest, and ensure his memory is celebrated the way he deserves. Thank you for reading, sharing, and keeping our family in your thoughts during this devastating time.
