The closure of the cafe was as much of a shock to us as it was to the community, and we need any help we can get. Any and all funds will be dispersed evenly among the staff. Many of us are unprepared for how quickly the closure is approaching, and we appreciate every single tip that we have been receiving since the closure was announced. Some of us are prepared to file for unemployment if we do not find new work soon, and others are unsure of what is next.

We wanted to set up this GoFundMe for those who would like and are able to donate to help us remain stable as we look for our next employment opportunities. Some of us have children or dependents, medical bills (for us and our pets), student loans, and rent that we feel uneasy about being able to support.

To our amazing customers, we have loved creating a third space for all of us to come and talk about your new job, job searches, family drama, breakups, heartbreaks, new projects, and maybe the occasional (frequent) advice. We will miss you as much, if not more, as you will miss us. Hopefully, we can keep making your lattes someplace else in the future. It has been a pleasure getting to know every single one of you and your fur babies :)

And a big thank you to anyone and everyone who has a couple of bucks to toss in as the staff you know and love tries to navigate the next steps.
