Raven and KC Jones are dear friends who just welcomed a newborn baby. What should have been a joyful time has turned into a sudden crisis. Raven was told by her employer that her 6-week maternity leave would be covered with pto but she thought her maternityleave was covered without needing pto. She has only accrued 5 hours . KC, her husband, who has been unemployed since April, found a job at a pizza shop yesterday. The family moved into a new apartment on May 10th after living in a trailer that was unsafe with electric wires burned and electric went out. With tax return they were able to pay 1st month rent and deposit and also finance a second better and safer car to drive baby in. Realizing she has no income coming in, they are at risk of losing their home and car.

This fundraiser will help them provide a buffer for the next 4-6 weeks until Raven can return to work. She wanted to come back next week, but her Dr will not allow her to.
