I never expected to need to ask for help like this, but my family and I are facing a serious financial hardship. After exhausting every other option, I am reaching out for help to keep my family housed and stable.

Over the past several months, I have had to take unpaid medical leave on multiple occasions due to ongoing health issues. Each time, we did our best to recover financially once I returned to work, but the impact of repeated unpaid time compounded and steadily eroded our ability to keep up with essential household expenses.

This most recent unpaid medical leave has left us with no income coming in, and it has pushed us to a point where we can no longer manage on our own. While I have not officially lost my job yet, the likelihood of losing it is very real, which would place our family in even deeper financial hardship.

Right now, my priority is keeping my family housed and preventing a crisis while I navigate medical recovery and uncertain employment. We are struggling to cover basic necessities such as mortgage and condo fees, utilities, vehicle payment and insurance, food, and other essential living expenses.

This fundraiser is meant to provide short-term support during a critical period - to help us stay afloat, keep a roof over our heads, and give us the stability needed to regroup and plan next steps, and even sharing this fundraiser makes a meaningful difference.
