Honoring the Life and Legacy of Martin Hak

On November 9, Martin Hak passed away suddenly in a tragic car accident. Martin was a pillar of our community.

As a dedicated hockey coach, Martin poured his heart into mentoring young athletes. His gift wasn’t just in teaching the game, it was in uplifting every child who crossed his path. He had a rare ability to make kids feel seen, capable, and proud of themselves.

Martin was kind, loving, and generous. He gave freely of his time, his wisdom, and his heart. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched on the ice, in the locker room, and far beyond.

He leaves behind his daughters Emma and Calista, who were the light of his life, his wife Marisa, parents Andrzej & Hanna, sister Karolina & brother-in-law Ryan, a family who is now navigating unimaginable grief.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to support Martin’s children and loved ones as they face the road ahead. Funds will go toward funeral costs, family support, and ensuring his daughters are surrounded by stability and care in the wake of this loss.
