AJ's top surgery

Howdy!

My name is AJ, I'm 19, genderqueer, and am looking to raise money so I can have a start before I seek out a surgeon for top surgery. I'm unsure how much of the cost I'll be able to cover on my own or how much I'll be able to get insurance to cover (if anything), so this is just a temporary fund goal until I get an idea of that.

I currently live with my parents and am still in high school, but I'd like to get surgery as soon as possible to make things easier and more comfortable for living, especially once I move out and start putting more of myself into the world outside of my town.

I've been binding for a little over a year as of November 2020, and as much as it helps, it doesn't do enough and I need a long term solution for the dysphoria I experience.

I have looked into surgeons and gender therapists in my state, but as of right now I don't have a way to cover the costs of getting the letter of approval or surgery itself. I'm hoping that this fund can give me the start I need to finally start making steps towards my goal and what I need for myself. Thanks!!
