Chris' Motorcycle Accident Recovery

Donation protected
On June 23rd of this year, my son Chris was involved in a near fatal motorcycle accident when an SUV veered into his lane and struck him head-on while he was driving his motorcycle. He was ejected from the motorcycle and went airborne landing 30 ft away. The police say "it's a miracle he survived such a horrific accident".
He shattered his femur and all the bones in his left leg, fractured his left wrist, lost part of one toe, had a major concussion, and of course numerous cuts and bruises. After many many hours of emergency surgery, they put his wrist and leg back together with plates, bolts, and screws. After 8 days in the hospital, he was "discharged", NO REHAB . See, Chris had just started a new job three weeks prior and the health insurance wouldn't kick in for another week.
Going on three months since the accident, he is STILL unable to put any weight on his left leg. He is in tremendous pain, but is doing the exercises that they tell him to do as he so wants to get back on his feet and back to work! The doctors tell him maybe in another month he will be able to start putting weight on that leg....maybe. Then it will be several more months before he'll be able to even "consider" working. He's already been out of work three months and six more months is a very good possibility.
So, in the meantime, Chris has moved into a room with his girlfriend at her parent's house as due to his physical limitations he cannot get into or move around his small mobile home, OR pay the expenses to do so! But even though he doesn't live there, he still has to pay the lot rent for it or face eviction! Plus, he has to see the Orthopedic and Pain Management Doctors on a regular basis, and pay for very expensive pain medication that he desperately needs to function and do the exercises he needs to do to improve his range of motion for his leg. And he just found out that he will now require further surgery on his toes in the future as they apparently were all fractured and didn't heal correctly.
The man who hit him had the state minimum insurance which will NOT cover his medical bills. Chris received re-embursement for his motorcycle....that's it! And that is what he has used to pay for the dr. visits and medications up until this point. But that small amount unfortunately has now run out.
I'm hoping people can help my son so that he can afford to go to his doctor's appointments, and get his medication, and maybe pay for a physical therapist to visit to help improve his chances of a full recovery, and now for this future surgery on his toes. Plus so that he would be able to pay his lot rent so he has a "home" to go to when he is able.
My son lost pretty much everything that dreadful day, thankfully NOT his life!  And he has kept a positive and grateful to be alive attitude. But after three months and knowing there is still such a long road ahead, with no insurance, and no income..... I just don't want him to lose hope also as right now it's ALL he has!
