St Werburgh's 100 Laps for Captain Sir Tom Moore

St Werburgh's Primary School - Walk for Captain Sir Tom Moore.

This man was the countries shining light last year raising over 32 million pounds for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his garden.  I know I speak for everyone at our school and across the country of how sad it was to hear he has passed away.  The children expressed their feelings towards him saying how incredible he was to do what he did at 100 years of age.

So in honour of this amazing man, on Friday 12th February, we as a school will be collectively walking 100 laps of our playground to raise money for the NHS.  We will be involving all of our children and staff whether they are currently in school or at home.

If you would like to join us in making a difference we are raising money in aid of NHS Charities Together. We know current times are tough and every donation will help and be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means a lot to our school and community.
