St Vincent's Hospital Palliative care unit

In August 2024, our friend Don O'Mahony lost his battle with brain cancer. Leaving behind his wife Lauren, and their 2 young boys (Freddie & Darcy) in Brisbane, his parents and siblings in Ireland and many friends around the world.

On the 14th June, 3 of us (Billy, Ger and Tadhg) will be attempting to complete a 68km adventure race in Westport, Co Mayo. Gael Force West includes Running, Kayaking, Cycling and Climbing Croagh Patrick. This is by far the biggest physical challenge any of us have ever attempted and we would like to raise some money for the hospital that cared for Don and his family.

Money raised will be used to make changes to some of the hospice rooms to make them more family friendly. We will add more details and a link to the main fundraising page when it goes live.
