St. Theresa's Exuma Needs Our Help
Donation protected
Hey guys, since summer 2018, a multitude of my classmates from Gonzaga and I have traveled to Great Exuma, Bahamas to serve the wonderful patrons of St. Theresa's Parish in Georgetown, Great Exuma. We have worked to refurbish their parish area and served as counselors for their annual summer camp. However, due to the onslaught of the pandemic, this small island community has been devestated. It breaks my heart that we couldn’t go in person to help them this summer, but the impact of COVID and the lack of our help devestates me even more. They don't have a lot, but the people of Great Exuma are some of the kindest, happiest, and community-oriented people I have ever met, and they need our help. I know everyone has been affected financially by the pandemic but any donation, however small, could make a massive difference to this vital community parish. Donations would go toward necessary operations fees, computers at the community center (necessary for remote learning), driveway refurbishment, and a new athletic area to enrich each child’s experience at St.Theresa’s.
Any support would mean the world to me, my dad, my Gonzaga brothers, and most importantly the wonderful people of St.Theresa's.
