For half a century, St Peter’s Pre-school has been the heart of early childhood education in our village,
nurturing generations of children and providing families with trusted, local care. Today, we are reaching out to our wonderful community because this treasured institution needs our collective support to continue serving families for the next 50 years.
Our Current Challenge
Like many small pre-schools across the country, we are facing significant financial pressures.
The gap between government funding and the actual costs of providing quality early years education has widened considerably, while lower enrolment numbers have reduced our income further. Without immediate community action, we risk losing this vital local resource.
We want to be transparent with you: our preschool is currently operating at a loss, and we need urgent
support to bridge this gap while we work on sustainable long-term solutions.
