St. Peter's Art for Autism

April is Autism Awareness Month. Each year St. Peter’s Nursery School students put on an amazing Art Show to raise money for children and families in our community who are challenged with autism – and although we’re in the midst of a life-altering pandemic, we want to make sure that those children and their families know that even though they can’t see us, we are still here supporting them and cheering them on - even in the most uncertain times.

We wanted to find a way to raise some money and keep at least a few of our St. Peter’s Art for Autism traditions alive so…we’ve set up a Go Fund Me Page for the event and will be adding your puzzle pieces to our Autism Ribbon. If you donate to the Go Fund Me, just add a note with your name (or names) and we will write your names on the puzzle pieces and add them to the ribbon. We will update with a new photo of the ribbon every day! Also, please feel free to have your children contribute their Outer Space artwork to the Facebook page for a virtual Art Show.

This year the money raised will go to help children and families in our community who are now experiencing a new wave of challenges due to the restrictions and limitations of our current situation. We will keep our Go Fund Me live through the month of April. At the end of the month, the money will go directly to St. Peter's for dispersement. 

Although we can’t be physically together we are so happy that we can keep living our  St. Peter's motto “Loving, Caring, Sharing”.
