St Peter & St Paul Primary School Replacement Oil & Costs

In January 2025, heating oil was stolen from the tank belonging to St Peter & St Paul's Primary School in Church Street, Eye, Suffolk. This left the school without heating during the coldest month, affecting the staff and pupils on Monday morning.

As you may well know, schools run to a very tight budget and replacing expensive heating oil in the height of winter will completely decimate a large chunk of the budget which should be for the children's benefit and spent on the budgeted everyday running of the school and resources desperately needed to support the children's learning journey.

There are vulnerable children and staff at the school and an unheated environment during winter will have a detrimental effect on these people too.

So if we can pull together as a community to ensure our school is not severely out of pocket thanks to this despicable crime it would be fantastic!!

It is not only the replacement oil itself but a number of associated costs the school will have to pay for and so any additional funds raised will go directly to the school. Thank you for your support!
