St Paul's Anglican Church Restoration Fund

Donation protected
My name is Rod and I am a member of St Paul's Anglican Church in Clunes, Victoria, Australia. Clunes is a small town where Gold was first discovered in Victoria. It is approximately 30kms North West of Ballarat. This old church is now 170 years old and we are still managing to keep it going as a viable faith centre in the Anglican Tradition. When built it was planned to be much larger and was to be the Cathedral for Central Victoria. However the gold ran out and the emphasis moved to Ballarat. As you can see from the picture, it is an old traditional bluestone church. Not many have survived as churches. One of the stained glass windows on the end depicted has completely collapsed and we need funds for repair. Repairs are estimated to be in the region of 20000 AUD. We do not have that money to spare as running costs swallow up most of our funds. The parish we are in is also experiencing difficulty in funding. This is a unique little church in a unique little community with great historical significance. If we can get this window replaced it will go a long way to preserving the gradual decay of a building that many consider part of their heritage. The church hosts an old organ which is one of five made in the world. Any help that can be given would be greatly appreciated.
