St Nicholas Hospice Sunset Walk

Hi everyone! We are Leigh, Steph, Hannah and Tory and we are raising money in aid of St Nicholas Hospice by completing the 15km Sunset walk on the 22nd of June around Bury St Edmunds.

As well as being a local charity to us, St Nicholas Hospice is particularly important to Leigh as they helped keep her dad comfortable in his remaining days.

Every year we try and get together to complete this walk but this is the first year that we are actually all going to be able to complete it together. We are also being joined by Tory and Hannah’s eldest girls, Libby and Freya, who may find this a challenge but are so excited to be part of a team and raise lots of money!

Since 1984 St Nicholas Hospice Care has been supporting the people of West Suffolk and Thetford. By caring for and supporting those experiencing long-term or life-threatening conditions, death, dying and bereavement, we strive to ensure everyone has the best very best experiences in the final chapters of their lives.

Every year we support more than 1,000 people, along with their relatives and friends, as well as educating 2,800 people in our community about palliative care and bereavement.
