St. Maximilian Kolbe CYO Gym Refresh!

Calling all St. Max CYO alums and families: We Need Your Support!

The St. Max gym was constructed 22+ years ago by a faithful few who had the vision to build a parish school, and who raised the funds and the support of the entire parish to take on that endeavor. And all these years later so many thousands of families and their children have benefitted not only from the school but from the gym and the CYO programs that are facilitated there. Whether your child's favorite CYO sport takes place in the gym or not, the gym has been the central hub of so many important CYO and parish-wide events for over two decades, and it is a special place filled with many memories for so many of us.

The gym is a central gathering place for St. Max families as well as other parishes during the fall, winter, and spring seasons, including volleyball, basketball, basketball clinics, March Madness, and tons of other school, parish, and community activities. 500+ families enjoy events in our gym every year! We have an important and central facility which has been the source of so many great moments in CYO sports, school, and parish/community life - and it is time to renovate and modernize it!

St. Max CYO wants to refresh and modernize the St. Max Gym to fit the needs of today’s students, athletes, and their families. The refresh plans for the St. Max Gym include:

To fund these projects we need to raise a total of $300,000 ($50,000 has already been raised by the CYO Board and two individual families have already pledged $25,000 each - even before this website went live!). Please be a part of St. Max's history and consider a generous donation today. Major gifts (those over $2500) may be made via this website or by check and may be pledged in part - checks can be made payable to St. Max CYO with "Gym Renovation" on the memo line and mailed to the rectory office. If we can raise the majority of needed funds before April 1, 2023, construction will begin in April 2023 and will be done before volleyball begins in August 2023. All donations are tax-deductible.
