St. Matthias Episcopal Church plays a major part in the community. Not only is it a place of worship, it is also a soup kitchen and food pantry. The church helps members of the community connect with God, while also making sure that they are fed and have basic toiletries to maintain hygiene. A few weeks ago, the copper piping was stripped and stolen from the A/C system on the roof of the church, rendering the system useless. By helping us replace this system, you will be allowing us to continue to serve food and keep our pantry from spoiling. Also, having a working A/C system will help community members escape the heat of the summer in Baltimore.
