St. Mary's GAA Club Community Fun Run

Donation protected
St. Mary's GAA club is re launching their 24 hour fun run which last took place in 2018. This will see over 300 members of our community split into 12 teams to complete 2 x1 hour runs/walks in 24 hours. All monies raised will go to fund the continuing development of our club grounds but we are also supporting two local charities

The Sligo Cancer Support Centre is a place of peace and hope where people with cancer and their families can access support, counselling, holistic therapies and healing workshops in a caring and tranquil environment.

All donations received will help to ensure that the work the centre provides in supporting, emotional healing and transforming the lives of those with cancer and their families can continue throughout the North West.

St. Cecilia’s School caters for students with moderate, severe and profound learning disabilities. There are two designated classes for students with autism. Pupils from 4-18 years are catered for. There are eleven classes, six junior (4-12yrs approx.) and five senior (12-18yrs).

Having launched the club sensory space together with the cul eile camp and GAA All Stars, this is a fitting charity for us to support.

2022 has been a successful year both on and off the pitch with our Senior mens team reaching the county final, our Senior ladies winning the Intermediate championship. In underage our boys teams at U13, U15, U17 and U19 all reaching their respective A finals. Our underage girls teams continues to thrive with two teams being fielded at U12 and U14 level and numerous finals reach across all age groups.

2022 has been also been a successful year off the pitch with extensive developments and improvements carried out throughout the club grounds and clubhouse. Below is a list of projects which were completed in 2022. With your support we hope to continue to make improvements to Kent Park for the benefit of all our members and the wider community.
