Dear Parishioners, Parents, Alumni, and Friends of St. Mary's Life Teen,
On Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 we will be celebrating our 22nd anniversary as a Life Teen program at St. Mary's in Dedham. Please join us for our Life Teen Mass at 5pm followed by the grand re-opening of our Life House as well as a look at what the year has to hold for any new teens who are joining us. It is a very exciting night and we hope to see new teens and past alumni come by and help us celebrate!
This year we are very excited for all of the upcoming opportunities and events for our teens. Some of our big Fall invents include: Fall Retreat, CIA (Catholics in Action) Service Retreat, Tootsie Roll Drive, Life Teen Olympics, and many more events. Our program is continually trying to grow better and offer different ways for our teens to know Christ better and to also build up our community here into a family. From our Sunday Life Teen Mass and Life Nights, to different social events, to the different service projects we do, our goal is to always grow closer to Christ. Our Core team that volunteers at our program is the lifeline to that process and we are always looking for more Core members to come and join our team.
As many of you know, our Life Teen program has had to fundraise our operating budget in an attempt to work with the parish budget and balance out our expenses. Many of our programs are run by parents and volunteers but the events themselves still require funding for them to operate. It is the reason we turn to funding through pledges from mission partners from the parish. Many have donated in the past and have helped to keep our program going and we are extremely thank you for all those who have helped out in the past. For the coming 2019-2020 year, our goal is to reach $30,000.
We ask that you consider in supporting St. Mary's Life Teen for his coming year by becoming a Mission Partner by making a pledge to our 2019-2020 funding campaign. You can do so in the following ways:

So many of the teens that come through the doors of our parish have had their lives changed because of this program. I am one of those teens. When I was in high school I came through this program and it became like a second home to me. I met my best friends here, I grew deeper in my faith than I ever thought possible, and it was the foundation of my high school career that than led me here today, coming full circle and now being the youth minster of the program. I, and many others are living witnesses and testaments to just how effective this program is. Many more teens will come through and their lives will be changed as well, all because of your donation that keep our program going and allow us to fully minister to these teens. Through your donations and funding, we can focus more on our main goal of leading teens closer to Christ. On behalf of Fr. Wayne, Fr.
