St Margaret Ward to Lourdes 2025

Hi, we are students and staff from St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy fundraising for a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France.

It was at this holy site that Our Lady appeared to a young girl named Bernadette. Here she told her to dig, and a spring of water came up. Since then, following Marys instructions people continue to seek healing in the waters as well as to hold processions and pray the rosary.

During our time at Lourdes we will be helping assisted pilgrims attend the various services, visit the baths and generally support and care for them, as well as attend services ourselves.

We hope it will be a time for service and community as well as renewal of faith. Any support is greatly welcomed!
