St. Louis HELP needs a used van

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program, Inc. (St. Louis HELP), which is in dire need of a new van. The van needs to have a high roof for all of the large medical equipment that is picked up from donors and dropped off to individuals.

(St. Louis HELP): St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program provides Home Medical Equipment (HME) to any individual in need at no charge or fee. Our program is a new solution to an old problem faced by individuals and their caregivers in the metropolitan St. Louis area. St. Louis HELP receives donations of new and used HME from individuals and businesses. The organization refurbishes and cleans the equipment and then loans the equipment, at no cost or fee, to community members both young and old from all walks of life. The uninsured, underinsured, disabled, elderly and their caregivers (an often overlooked group) are at particular risk of facing barriers to accessing HME. These vulnerable populations continue to experience reduced access to health care services demonstrating a continuing need for a strong and viable safety net such as St. Louis HELbut are not limited to, manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, canes, crutches, walkers, shower chairs, tub transfer benches, grab bars, elevated toilet seats, portable commodes, wheelchair ramps, seating cushions, back supports/positioning devices, dressing aids, electric hospital beds, van lifts, lift chairs and stair lifts.
