St Laurence Schools flood damage

On Thursday afternoon, 26th September, flash flooding caused extensive damage and chaos in our wonderful Infant and Junior schools. Classrooms, corridors, offices and the kitchen were completely flooded, fencing damaged, potential boiler damage and so much debris to tidy. With huge thanks to staff and volunteers who have begun the clean up process, the true extent of the damage is unfortunately now being revealed.

We wish to restore our school buildings and allow the education of our children to continue as quickly as possible.
