St. Jude: Grandfather's Memorial Fund

Hello, our names are Farid and Jule. We are 15 year old twins. Before we were born, our grandfather unfortunately passed away from stomach and lung cancer. After his passing, our father named one of us Farid (which was our grandfather's name) to honor him. Although we never got to meet him, we have heard incredible stories about him. We know that while he was around he was an amazing man, always looking out and helping other people. On multiple occasions he would help fund others who needed money more than him, even though he himself financially struggled to provide for his family. In 2004, he passed from an extremely vicious strain of stomach and lung cancer. To commemorate his legacy of kindness towards others and gratitude, we opened this fund. For the institute to fund, we chose St. Jude’s research hospital. St. Jude perfectly embodies Grandfather Farid’s values of gratitude and kindness, by providing treatment for free, funded by their donors.
