St. Jude Homeless Community Activity Fund

We are raising money to help bring fun activities to the brand new permanent housing for our senior, chronic homeless community 55 years and older. St. Jude opened in September of 2018, and
functions with the support of Catholic Charities, City Square, Metrocare, Veterans Administration Supportive Housing, and the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance. This is the first ever senior homeless supportive housing in Dallas. Each resident has their own small apartment with private bath, and kitchenette. For some of the residents it is the first time they have had a bed of their own in a long time and are supported by people who care and want to help them
succeed. We are asking for your help to provide money for movie outings, bingo prizes such as food items, household goods, gift cards for haircuts, bus passes for doctors and VA appointments. These are a luxury item which they cannot afford. 

Melissa and I started teaching Yoga once a week, monthly birthday celebration, as well as bingo couple times a month, and we are hoping with your help to add more activities. Our budget for bingo prizes, cake for the birthdays, and any outing we have planned for the year are funded solely by any donation we receive from friends & family.
