More information about Sports Aid Trust: SportsAid is the only national charity of its kind, proudly supporting young talented British sportsmen and women. We were established in 1976 and our patron is Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge. We work with the governing bodies of more than 60 sports to identify the right athletes at the right time. SportsAid uses the funds it raises to provide these athletes (typically aged between 12 and 18) with awards to help them meet the essential costs of training and competing.
