St Helens 10k for Jess

Hi, this year I will be running St Helens 10K for Jess.

We unfortunately and unexpectedly lost Jess at then end of 2024, after undergoing a long battle with kidney failure, Jess was a great friend of mine as to many others and I’m so grateful to have had her by my side through thick and thin, she was always bubbly, smiley and laughing, even on the tough days. No matter how much she was going through all the pain and hard times with kidney failure, Jess always looked at the positive side and looked to encourage other on the dialysis ward to look forward and see the positives to get better. She was a true little warrior! In 2025 we are looking forward as she did, to celebrate her life and the beautiful caring daughter/sister/aunty/friend to everyone around her. You’ll be truly missed by everyone around, see you on the other side.

I will be raising money for Liverpool university hospital charitable fund, which provides funding to the Liverpool dialysis ward that treated Jess and the friends she found on the ward.
