St. Gregory Orphanage

In 1973, Mother Susan Kuruvilla established "Mar Gregarious Ashram" (St. Gregory Orphanage) to fulfill her mission chosen by God.  For the full blooming of this divinely directed charitable institution, Mother Susan envisioned constructing a home, chapel, medical facility, school and handicraft training and production facility for the the poor, elderly and destitute.    Today St. Gregory Orphanage is home to approximately 125 people.  The Orphanage takes care of the poor and down – trodden people, regardless of caste or creed.  They include poor orphans, destitute, elderly,  and those physically and mentally challenged from areas in Kerala India.  Starting from nursery school, the orphans are given free elementary and college level education.   Job oriented and professional education is given to skilled and accelerated students.  The destitute people are tenderly cared for by the devout nuns of the orphanage. The elderly are tended to around the clock by experienced home nurses. The physically and mentally challenged receive regular checkups and treated by doctors and nurses. Your generous donation will go toward the everyday cost to feed, shelter and cloth the needy at the orphanage as well as towards the ongoing improvements to the care, education and building programs.
