St Francis Animal Welfare
On April 6th Damon is crazily running the Brighton Marathon to raise money for St Francis Animal Welfare, a registered charity, that has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals since 1953. We recently visited the shelter, spent time with the cats and dogs, and spoke to the dedicated staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to care for these animals.
Based in Fair Oak, Eastleigh, St Francis provides vital care for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other small animals, many of whom have been abandoned or surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them.
The charity receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations to cover its daily running costs of over £500. Every contribution, big or small, helps provide food, shelter, and medical care for these animals in need. Please consider donating to support this incredible cause!
