Breathwork Training Program for Black Healers
Donation protected
The intention for this campaign is to raise scholarship funds for the benefit of dedicated Black healers to study with with Siedeh Foxie, a therapeutic breathwork practitioner, spiritual guide and healer. This training and mentorship program will focus on breathwork for self-healing with an emphasis on how to cultivate a successful client-based practice.
Siedeh Foxie has been facilitating private and group breathwork for 6 years, sharing spiritual insight, and serving as a guide for empowered healing. She leads workshops at some of the most well known studios in the NYC area, and private sessions from her home in Brooklyn.
Though she is a certified therapeutic breathwork facilitator, her breathwork journey began with a rigorous self-taught practice. Pulling from her experience with energy healing and bodywork for trauma release, this training is a reflection of the wealth of knowledge she's acquired over several years.
Now more than ever, there's a sense of urgency to empower and train more Black healers in the modality of breathwork for processing and healing trauma. We need more Black facilitators in the wellness world, working from a clear space of ethics and integrity, and cultural competency.
We are asking for $23K to go towards for full and partial scholarships for 14 individuals. These funds will cover a comprehensive 50+ hour training program held over the course of 12 weeks beginning November 2020 and running through January 2021. Our goal is to reach the full amount by September 2020, so prospective applicants can make the necessary financial arrangements before registration.
