St. Elizabeth Disaster Relief Fund - Jamaica

We are local Hampton Roads citizens with family and friends directly affected by Hurricane Melissa. We are coordinating relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, for Jamaica, specifically for St. Elizabeth, focusing on Santa Cruz, Treasure Beach, Rich Pen, Lacovia, and Black River.

No funds will go to our personal account. We have set up an account, St Elizabeth Disaster Relief Fund, specifically for this purpose. If any donations come in after the deadline, we will donate that money to one of the local charities below. We are coordinating with the St. Elizabeth Disaster Coordinator on the ground in Jamaica.

Many residents are in need of essential items such as clothing, blankets, non-perishable food, and water. The money raised here will go to purchasing the needed items that will be transported on 19 November. Therefore, the deadline for donations is November 14.

We also have a drop off location, if you are local to Hampton Roads and prefer to donate goods rather than money. The location, dates and times are below as well as the list of needed items.

Warehouse Dropoff: 2320 Mohawk St, Norfolk, VA 23513
Dates: Nov 7, Nov 8, Nov 14 and Nov 15, 2025
Times: 9am - 5pm
