Hi, my name is Susan Sinclair, and I was born and raised in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
Though I now live in the UK, my heart remains deeply tied to my home and my people.
Recently, Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 storm, devastated Jamaica — leaving many families in St. Elizabeth and across the island without homes, food, or clean water.
While I am grateful that my own family is safe, so many others in our community have lost everything. Right now, families are living under tents or out in the open, struggling to survive day by day.
My family back home has been working tirelessly, using what little we have, to cook hot meals and distribute water to those most in need. But the need is great — and we cannot do it alone.
I’m asking for your help, no matter how small. Every donation will go directly toward:
- Providing hot meals to displaced families
- Supplying clean drinking water
- Offering basic necessities to help rebuild lives.
Your kindness can bring hope and relief to those who have lost so much.
Together, we can make sure no one in St. Elizabeth goes hungry or forgotten in this difficult time.
Please, if you can, donate and share this campaign with others who might be willing to help.
Every bit counts, and every act of kindness makes a difference. From my heart and on behalf of the people of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica — thank you. ❤️
— Susan Sinclair
