My name is Venisha Miller, and I was born in Jamaica. My family roots run deep in St. Elizabeth, Mandeville, and St. Catherine. Although I came to the UK at a very young age, I was raised within the vibrant Jamaican culture. The resilience, strength, and unity of “Out of Many, One People” runs through my blood.
With the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, I feel called to do my part in helping to rebuild Jamaica—the land of my birth and the place I love dearly.
This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting victims of the disaster in the St. Elizabeth and Mandeville communities, many of whom have been displaced and are struggling without basic necessities such as food, water, and electricity.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Your kindness and generosity will go a long way in helping families rebuild their lives and restore hope in this difficult time.
