About Us

We are the PTA for St Cuthberts Infants School in Wells, a dedicated educational institution that believes in the holistic development of our children. Playtime is a crucial part of our students’ growth, providing them with the opportunity to develop social skills, physical fitness, and a love for outdoor activities.

The Need

Unfortunately, our current play area has become unsafe and is no longer suitable for our children to use. Wear and tear over the years has left the equipment in a state that poses risks to our children. The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority, and we need to take immediate action.

Funding Challenges

Due to significant reductions in school funding, replacing large playground equipment has become increasingly difficult. Our budget is stretched thin, and while we do our best to allocate resources efficiently, we simply don't have the funds needed to undertake this critical project.

We are incredibly fortunate to be part of an amazing community that has always supported our children and future generations. Your generosity has helped us in the past, and we are once again reaching out for your support.

Our Goal

We aim to raise £7,000 to build a new, safe, and fun play area for our students. This will include:

- Modern, safe play structures

- Soft, impact-absorbing ground surfaces

- Inclusive equipment for children of all abilities

- All year round safe play space
